Project Monet Resources
This guide explains the subject in plain language. It does not promise a result for every account. Use the ideas with the account, audience, resources, and business goal in mind.
Reach the kind of person who may act
A large audience of people outside the market can create impressive numbers and few enquiries. Define the customer situation, location where relevant, problem, desire, and level of awareness before choosing topics.
Content can reach beyond likely buyers and still be useful. The problem begins when the wrong audience becomes the main source of growth and shapes the account around irrelevant attention.
Earn the profile visit
A Reel or carousel should create enough relevance, curiosity, or trust for the intended person to visit. That can come from a useful answer, credible opinion, demonstration, story, or clear connection to a problem.
Do not hide the topic behind vague hooks. The right viewer needs to recognise why the content matters.
Build trust on the page
Trust is not only a testimonial. It can come from clarity, specificity, demonstration, honest limits, and the quality of the thinking.
- A clear offer and intended audience
- Useful depth across recent posts
- Accurate proof and credentials
- Pinned explanations
- Visible people or process where appropriate
- Consistent facts, tone, and next steps
Choose a call to action that matches trust
A cold viewer may be ready to follow or save, not book a call. A person who has watched several useful posts and understands the offer may be ready to DM, enquire, or buy.
Use low-friction next steps when the decision is early. Use direct business actions when the content and profile have answered enough questions.
The best CTA is the next reasonable step, not the biggest possible ask.
Make DMs easy to start and handle
A DM prompt should give the person a clear reason and enough context. ‘DM us’ is weaker than explaining what they can ask, receive, check, or discuss.
The business also needs a response process. Decide who replies, how quickly, which questions qualify the lead, and where the conversation moves next. Do not collect DMs the team cannot handle.
Remove landing-page friction
If the CTA uses a link, the destination should load well on mobile, match the message, explain the offer, and keep the action visible. Too many choices can stop a warm visitor.
Track the handoff. A strong Instagram result can be lost by a broken form, slow page, unclear booking flow, or follow-up delay.
Measure the complete path
Not every account can connect every sale perfectly. Use the strongest available evidence and keep definitions consistent. Ask leads how they found the business when tracking is limited.
- Reach from relevant content
- Profile visits
- Follows and returning attention
- Saves, shares, and useful engagement
- DM starts and qualified conversations
- Form leads, calls, bookings, or purchases
- Lead quality and business outcome
Why high views can produce no leads
The content may attract entertainment seekers instead of buyers. The profile may be unclear. The offer may not appear. The proof may be weak. The CTA may ask too much, too early. The link or response process may fail.
Do not solve every lead problem by making more Reels. Find the broken step in the path first.
